Get vetted. Get the mandates that mean something.

Onyx lists 182 service providers across five disciplines — audits, compliance, tokenomics, training, growth. Listing is editorial: we review your work product, we call your clients, and we publish what we find. One in five applicants makes it in.

Why providers apply

Demand that arrives already qualified.

Every lead from Onyx is a project mid-application or mid-remediation — teams that already know what they need, with budget approved and evidence requirements in hand.

Qualified demand

Leads come from projects working through our methodology — they arrive with a scoped need ("we lose 4 points without a second audit"), not a cold inquiry.

A credential with teeth

The Vetted stamp is earned by work-product review and reference checks — and it's revocable. That's exactly why it carries weight with the projects you want.

Reviews that convert

Client reviews on your profile are verified against completed engagements. Prospects trust them because they can't be bought, planted, or deleted.

Editorial context

Your profile carries our honest read — "what we like, what to know." It filters out bad-fit inquiries before they reach your inbox.

How vetting works

Listing is editorial, not commercial.

The application fee is fixed and does not affect outcome. We publish the acceptance rate quarterly so you can hold us to it.

1
Day 1 — 3

Apply with work product

Firm details, jurisdictions served, three redacted engagement deliverables, five named client references.

2
Day 4 — 9

Work-product review

A domain reviewer reads your deliverables the way your clients should have. Depth, specificity, and honesty are what score.

3
Day 10 — 12

Reference verification

We call each named client directly. You don't see what was said. Quotes are published only with permission.

4
Day 14

Decision & listing

Accepted providers go live with editorial context. Rejections get the reasons in writing. Re-apply after 180 days.

What listed providers say

The stamp does the selling.

The reference-check process was uncomfortable — they called clients we hadn't spoken to in a year. But that's precisely why the listing converts. Prospects arrive pre-sold because they know we couldn't have bought the placement.

FAQ

The questions every provider asks.

Does paying more improve our chance of acceptance? +
No. The application fee is fixed and identical for every applicant, and vetting is performed by the editorial team, who have no visibility into commercial conversations. Acceptance is determined by work-product quality, reference checks, and independence review — nothing else. The acceptance rate is published quarterly.

Think your work product holds up?

The application takes about 30 minutes if you have three redacted deliverables and five client references ready. Decision in 14 days, reasons in writing either way.

Pricing

Flat fees. No commissions.

Onyx never takes a percentage of mandates sourced through the marketplace. You pay a fixed application fee, then a flat annual listing fee if accepted. Vetting outcome is unaffected by tier — or by anything else you can pay for.

Binding · Marketplace independence policy No fee, tier, or add-on affects vetting outcome, review content, or the editorial "what we like / what to know" sections on your profile. Acceptance is editorial. Delisting is editorial. Both are published.
Application fee $2,500 Fixed, non-refundable, identical for every applicant. Covers work-product review and reference verification whether or not you're accepted. Paid once per application.

Promotional placements — labeled "Sponsored", always.

Sponsored placements appear only on discovery surfaces — never inside your reviews, your editorial context, or the vetting record. They are visually distinct from the Vetted stamp.

Independence note

Sponsored placement is restricted to discovery surfaces where the user is browsing, not where they are evaluating. Editorial staff who write provider context and conduct re-reviews have no visibility into which providers purchase placements. This is enforced at the access-control layer, the same way it is for rated projects.

Work-product samples

This is the heart of the vetting. Upload three complete engagement deliverables from the last 18 months. Redact client identifiers if needed — we assess depth, specificity, and honesty, not logos. Marketing decks are the most common reason applications fail.
